Whether you are in need of specialized services because of an injury, or just need help in getting your GI Bill educational benefits to attend school, we have people ready and willing to help you. Our campus is known nationwide as being extremely accessible to everyone and getting to your classes or other activities does not present a problem for anyone at our world class research institution.
Our SIUC mascot is the Saluki. Originally called a Persian Greyhound, the Saluki was also the Royal Dog of Egypt. It is known for its grace and symmetry. However, when it hunts, it sees its prey, runs it down with intense desire, drive, and focus, never wavering or slowing, until the capture.
We are proud to call ourselves Saluki's and we will show you that same intense desire, drive, and focus as we work to help you graduate with your degree and succeed in today's changing world. No matter which of our 81 bachelors, 70 masters, and 33 doctoral degree programs you choose, our goal is to see you through to graduation and make sure your journey is as pleasant as possible.
